Whistle Stop still believes that downtown is the heartbeat of our community! We are proud to serve not just downtown and travelers, but our entire community! Whistle Stop is "Local Motion" serving or community with food, ice cream, and coffee but also local produce, hand made wares, gifts, jewelry, art, folk art and so much more. We have bundled it into a "one stop shop". Realizing our train, bus travelers and downtown workers were very under served
Whistle Stop set out to provide a platform for local folks to sell their wares and fill a void in our downtown area.
Whistle Stop is also a place to have tea parties, birthday parties and meetings, which is a much needed service in our community.
We bring in new providers almost weekly and aspire to be the shop that offers that unique gift while keeping it local.
We also offer a varied selection of hard to find magazines as well as Rocky Mount and North Carolina souvenirs.
